NVE Bank Debit Cards permit a cardholder to make purchases anywhere Mastercard® is accepted. The purchase will automatically be deducted from the cardholder's primary checking account. Additionally, NVE Bank Debit Cards are able to access tens of thousands of automated teller machines (ATMs) worldwide to withdraw cash. Just look for the Mastercard®, Cirrus, Maestro, or Accel logos. Now, for your added protection, NVE Bank Debit Cards are enabled with EMV smart chip technology.
To report a lost or stolen card ATM or debit card, please call 201-816-2800 during business hours or 1-800-472-3272 after business hours (available 24 hours a day, seven days a week).
Travel and Online Purchase Information
NVE Bank makes every effort to protect you from unauthorized debit card transactions and monitors your card transactions for potentially fraudulent activity, which is often identified by transactions that take place outside your normal pattern of activity and geographic area. This means that when you travel, your transactions may be identified by our security system as irregular. To avoid any interruption in your card service, please alert us of any international travel plans you may have so we can set a travel notification on the cards you plan to use while traveling. To set a international travel notification on your debit card, contact us toll free at (1-866-NVE-BANK (1-866-683-2265), visit any of our branch locations or send us a secure, online banking message one week prior to your departure on any international travel you have planned. Standard daily limits in U.S. Dollars apply when traveling out- of- state or internationally. For your protection, we will continue to monitor your card transactions even when a travel notification has been set, and we may decline any irregular transaction that is attempted.
