Junior BSA / Compliance Specialist

NVE Bank is seeking a candidate for the position of Jr. BSA/Compliance Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Responsible for assisting the BSA/Compliance Officer with the daily and monthly workflow in the BSA/Compliance Department. Review AML software monitoring alerts of cash, checks, wires, etc.; knowledge of FISERV FCRM AML Manager a plus. Ongoing enhanced due diligence of customer relationships including transactional analysis for customers that pose a higher risk to the bank. Review and submit CTR reports. Complete investigations and file Suspicious Activity Reports. Oversee the Bank's Watch List Program (OFAC/314a) including uploading lists and validating potential matches when applicable. Must stay current with regulatory changes, industry standards and best practices. Serve as point of contact for all AML-related matters and unusual activity or behavior raised by frontline staff. Attend training and maintain knowledge of updated requirements to ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing financial institutions, with an emphasis on the BSA/AML/CIP.

Responsible for assisting the BSA/Compliance Officer with ongoing compliance management process including coordination with members of the Compliance Committee.

Assist in updating written policies and procedures as required by changes in regulations or the risk profile of the bank.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:

  • Extensive knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations (OFAC/USAPatriot Act) a must
  • Sufficient knowledge of consumer compliance regulations applicable to lending and deposit functions of the bank as well as Identity Theft regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple activities to completion within strictly regulated deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and make reasoned and accurate decisions
  • Ability to work independently and/or in teams under limited supervision

Branch Manager

Marketing Director

NVE Bank is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Director to join our team. In this position you will plan and direct the marketing initiatives of the Bank with regards to our mission, objectives, products, services and image, to promote and compliment the sales activities of the retail sector as well as the lending area. This is an exempt position based out of our Executive Office in Englewood, NJ.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Direct and coordinate Bank marketing efforts while acting as direct liaison with the advertising agency.
  • Establish both short-term and long-range strategic marketing plans and programs to achieve corporate objectives for all areas of the Bank.
  • Develop and execute tactical marketing plans and programs to support the sales and revenue objectives of the Bank.
  • Develop and manage the marketing operating budget, including advertising, promotions, premiums and sponsorships.
  • Coordinate with Bank department heads to develop and oversee advertising and promotion activities, including print media, online campaigns, direct mail initiatives, etc.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, and act as the Bank liaison with contracted third-party vendors in the delivery of the corresponding services.
  • Coordinate with senior management to assess the financial returns for special campaigns and promotions.
  • Coordinate and/or conduct market and consumer research to support the Bank’s promotional activities.
  • Coordinate the Bank’s community relations efforts, oversee customer marketing events and serve as the public relations officer.
  • Receive and process requests for contributions and sponsorships from community organizations such as not-for-profits, local school programs and youth teams.
  • Responsible for in-house communications such as: NVE Bank Newsletter, posters, brochures and other promotional materials.

Universal Banker

NVE Bank is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Universal Banker. Utilizing a needs-based selling approach, the Universal Banker will actively engage clients and prospects providing product and service solutions based on client’s needs and how they prefer to conduct their banking. The Universal Banker will be responsible for providing a one stop experience in processing transactions and fulfilling all sales and service needs ensuring that the client feels welcomed and valued. Time spent on certain aspects of this role will vary depending upon branch traffic, as well as the needs and the role of other teammates in the branch.

JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable to meet all assigned customer service and sales activity goals that include outbound phone contact to customers and prospects, in branch customer engagement, as well as other sales initiatives to deepen existing client relationships and acquire new relationships
  • Acquire and maintain customer relationships over the entire customer lifecycle by discovering and understanding their financial needs at the transaction window, platform desk, in the lobby or during out of the branch sales activities

Human Resources Manager

Responsible for all human resources activities including employee relations, compliance, recruiting, talent management, compensation, benefits, HRIS and payroll. Designs, implements, and administers competitive and cost-effective compensation and benefits programs. Responsible for management and maintenance of HRIS and payroll administration. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Assumes responsibility for the research, planning, development, and implementation of effective compensation, benefits, payroll, recruitment and employment policies and procedures in support of organizational business objectives.
  • Serves as an advisor to business managers in handling Human Resource matters.
  • Works closely with leaders, managers, and employees to advise and counsel on policy interpretation, escalated personnel matters, and performance effectiveness and development.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the Bank’s payroll.
  • Oversees and administers HRIS systems, recognition and compensation programs, HR Internet and Intranet pages and self- service tools.
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with all Bank personnel and management.
  • Establishes and maintains professional relations with HR related organizations/vendors, consultants, auditors, and other external contacts.
  • Ensures that accurate, updated personnel information is provided to departments, governmental organizations and regulatory agencies as required. Ensures that external document submissions are accurate and timely.
  • Is responsible to assure all employees are aware and understand the benefits of the Bank’s suite of benefits plans.

Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst

NVE Bank is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst.
Ideal candidate should have 5+ years Commercial Real Estate Credit Analysis or equivalent financial analysis experience plus an Associate Degree in Accounting or Finance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Analyzing property cash flow statements, business operating statements, business and personal tax returns and personal financial statements. Must have a complete understanding of cash flow reports, financial ratios, trends, etc. Analyst must be able to identify recurring and non-recurring sources of cash flow, the property’s ability to cover debt service and ability of client/guarantor to support the property.
  • Underwrite real estate and or C&I credits and prepare credit memos for new loans as well as for renewals, modifications and short-term extensions. This includes financial and risk analysis, purpose of loan, repayment sources, collateral, financial & reporting covenants, tenant analysis, and sponsor and project team summary.
  • Must be able to understand and review real estate documents (leases, loan documents, appraisals, etc.) to determine any potential issues and concerns. .
  • Responsible for independently underwriting all credit requests for new applicants and existing obligors.
  • Prepare loan presentations in conjunction with the Loan Officers ensuring all details of the credit proposal are complete and accurate, provide assessment and adequacy of deal structure and creditworthiness and participate in presentation and/or present loans to the approving authority.
  • Monitor borrower compliance with approved terms, portfolio management, and assist in the administration of credit relationships
  • Provide post-funding analytical and monitoring support of credit relationships and portfolio maintenance including completion of annual reviews.

Ideal candidate should be highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in various software packages as well as Microsoft Office is required.
