Training opportunities offered by Ion Financial, MHC include in-house and vendor-based, off-site training programs, as well as online training.
Tuition Assistance
All full-time and part-time employees are eligible to receive tuition assistance after they have completed a minimum of one year of service at the Company. In addition, factors that will be considered in determining whether to approve such requests include the length of employment and performance level of the requesting employee, as well as budgetary considerations. Employees can attend any accredited institution to receive tuition assistance. However, Ion has partnerships with institutions that offer discounted tuition rates. To receive the assistance, the courses or program must be related to the employee’s position.

In-House Training Programs
Learning sessions, webinars, and development programs are offered throughout the year to all Ion employees who are interested. Some of the programs include Monthly Microlearning, internal networking opportunities, Individual Development Plans, and mentorships.
In addition to internal trainings, Ion has partnerships with multiple online training platforms that provide employees with access to webinars and online courses. These trainings cover a wide range of subjects including technical skills, power skills, and industry specific topics.
