NVE Bank, A Division of Ion Bank was invited to attend the Demarest Middle School Hands on Math enrichment class. Olena Shumilin, First Vice President, discussed how she uses math in her daily tasks, the importance of creating a budge for their monthly expenses, borrowing money, the importance of repaying loans on time and the key points of a mortgage loan. The students were extremely engaged and asked many questions. This presentation and participation reflect the bank’s deep-rooted dedication to enriching the communities they serve.
