In The Community – August 2025

NVE Bank, A Division of Ion Bank, proudly supported and participated with the town of New Milford for its Night Out Event on August 5th, 2025. Karen Melon, Vice President of Marketing and Community Development Officer and Handan Koch, Branch Manager engaged with participants and local business owners on the products and services available at NVE Bank. This participation reflects the bank’s deep-rooted dedication to enriching the communities they serve.

NVE Bank, A Division of Ion Bank, presented to 150 students from 2nd through 8th grade Englewood during their summer Financial Literacy Program. Karen Melon, Vice President of Marketing and Community Development Officer and Lena Sung Engle Street Manager provided information to the students on banking, the importance of saving and having a “rainy day fund”. The students were extremely engaging, asked many questions, and shared their appreciation for the presentation and the information provided. This participation reflects the bank’s deep-rooted dedication to enriching the communities they serve.
