Baby Bundle Inc., a New Jersey-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting first-time mothers in need, is proud to announce it has received a generous grant from the NVE Bank Community Foundation. The funding will help expand the organization’s ability to provide Baby Bundle Boxes to families across Bergen County.
The grant will directly support first-time mothers facing financial hardship, housing insecurity, unemployment, domestic violence, or limited access to baby essentials. Each Baby Bundle Box is thoughtfully assembled with essential newborn items such as clothing, diapers, sleep items, hygiene products, and comfort supplies—helping ensure a safe and healthy start for both mother and baby.
“We are incredibly grateful to Karen E. Melon, Executive Director of the NVE Bank Community Foundation for believing in our mission,” said Mia Forsberg-Villon, Founder of Baby Bundle Inc. “This support allows us to reach more families at a critical moment in their lives and ensures that no mother feels alone as she welcomes her newborn.”
Baby Bundle Inc. is a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded on the belief that every child deserves an equal start in life. The organization works closely with hospitals, social workers, shelters, and community partners to identify mothers most in need and respond quickly with compassionate support. Since its inception, Baby Bundle Inc. has helped hundreds of families across New Jersey by providing maternity and newborn essentials at no cost.
Community partnerships are central to the organization’s impact. Support from local institutions like NVE Bank, A Division of Ion Bank, along with Rotary clubs, volunteers, faith-based organizations, and individual donors, enables Baby Bundle Inc. to remain a fully volunteer-driven nonprofit while continuing to expand its reach.
“Collaborations like this strengthen maternal and infant health throughout our community,” Forsberg-Villon added. “We look forward to continuing our work with Karen E. Melon, Executive Director of NVE Bank Community Foundation in Englewood, NJ as well as with NVE Bank, A Division of Ion Bank and its Foundation on future local initiatives that support families throughout Bergen County.”
