NVE Bank Branch Managers participated in the American Bankers Association Teach Children to Save initiative by visiting grammar schools in their communities. Jiovanna Rodriguez, Bergenfield Branch manager, visited the Hoover School on March 21st and read the story, “Money, Money, Honey Bunny”, to the students. Karen Melon, VP of Retail Sales, Marketing, and Community Development and Vivian Mendez, AVP visited the Merritt School in Cresskill on March 28th and read the story, “Bunny Money” to the students. They shared knowledge on banking and the importance of saving to the students. The students were extremely engaging, asked many questions, and shared their appreciation for the presentation and the information provided. This participation reflects the bank’s deep-rooted dedication to enriching the communities they serve.
