 Your account numbers will remain unchanged during the conversion process unless you are specifically notified otherwise.

Checks

 You can continue to use your existing checks. Ion Bank checks won’t be needed until your current supply is exhausted.

Debit Mastercard®

Use your NVE Bank Debit Mastercard® through Sunday, March 22nd. This card will deactivate on Monday, March 23rd.

You will be receiving a new NVE Bank, A Division of Ion Bank Debit Mastercard®. To activate this card, call 800.992.3808 and set a Personal Identification Number (PIN). After conversion, spending limits will change to Ion Bank limits as shown in your updated account disclosures.

ATMs

During the conversion weekend, you can continue to make withdrawals, deposits, and payments as usual. However, balance inquiries and transfers will not be available, and withdrawal limits will be temporarily reduced for both consumers and businesses at ATMs and Point-of-Sale (POS). After the conversion, Ion Bank spending limits will apply.

Online Banking

Unavailable: Friday, March 20th at 4pm until Monday, March 23rd at 9am.

User ID: Stays the same.

Password: Temporarily reset to ZIP code + last five digits of your Tax Identification Number (TIN) (businesses will use the business ZIP code and business TIN). After your log in, you’ll create a new password and accept Online Banking Terms and Conditions. For your protection, our system may send you a text or phone challenge.

Bill Pay & Transfers: Scheduled payments and transfers will carry over unless payee address is missing. Review payee details to avoid any issues.

eBills: Must be reestablished.

Account Nicknames & Alerts: Must be reestablished.

Quicken/QuickBooks: Download history before March 20th and disconnect NVE Bank as the Financial Institution. Reconnect using Ion Bank after the conversion.

Mobile Banking

The NVE Bank Mobile App will be unavailable from Friday, March 20th at 4pm and going forward.

After Conversion: Download the Ion Bank Mobile App.

User ID: Stays the same

Password: Your password will be the same as your new Online Banking password. Refer to the password instructions above in the Online Banking section.

Bank-By-Phone

Unavailable: Friday, March 20th at 4pm until Monday, March 23rd at 9am.

PIN Reset:

Personal Accounts – your PIN will be reset to the last four digits of your Tax Identification Number (TIN). Use this PIN the first time you call. You will be prompted to set a new PIN which can be the same PIN you previously had.

Business Accounts – any authorized signer’s PIN will be reset to the last five digits of their Tax Identification Number (TIN). Use this PIN the first time you call. You will be prompted to set a new PIN.

Statements

You will be receiving two statements in the month of March.

Before Conversion: Regular statements include transactions through March 20th, 2026. Your eStatements will be converted.

After Conversion: The first Ion Bank statement will include transactions from the conversion date through month-end. It will be available by the end of the first week following conversion. For multiple accounts, your statements will be combined for any accounts owned by the same tax reported owner and the same joint owner(s) where applicable.

eStatements: All statements currently available to you will be available in iBanking after conversion (up to 51 months of statements will be available depending on when you enrolled in eStatements).

Transactions

Transactions that you make on Friday, March 20th after 4pm through Monday, March 23rd at 9am will post as early as Monday, March 23rd.

Direct Deposits: Arrangements you have in place will remain the same. No action is needed unless we contact you with specific instructions.

Automatic Withdrawals and Preauthorized Payments: Any automatic withdrawals or preauthorized payments you already have set up will continue as scheduled and do not need to be reestablished unless you receive specific instructions.

Cash Management & Business Services

If you are using Merchant Remote Deposit Capture or Positive Pay, you will be contacted by a member of our Cash Management Team prior to conversion to discuss your specific relationship needs.

CDs/IRA

There are no changes to the current rate, term, or maturity of your CDs and/or IRAs. Your account number will change; the first set of numbers before the hyphen will drop.

Note: When the CD matures for the first time after conversion, it will roll into Ion Bank’s term which may have different penalty rules.
